Training Description

This presentation will cover basic emotional and behavioral trauma reactions, as well as simple coping skills that can be used to help manage these reactions in the children we work with. Focus will be on skills that can be easily implemented 'in the field' with little to no prep or supplies needed. Techniques for both children and adolescents will be covered, as well as a component on coping and self-care for the vicarious trauma often experienced by child welfare professionals.
