Training Description

Dependency 101 will provide an overview of the Florida dependency process. A unique and specialized area of the law, dependency involves complex family dynamics and human relationships. This presentation explains the legal process and the interrelationship with everyone involved with the family. Application of the Florida Practice Model, safety analysis, non-judicial cases, and the judicial cases and process will be explored. Ultimately, success is when the child is safe from abuse and neglect and permanency is achieved expeditiously. Success is when everyone works for the best interest of the child.
