Tarrin E. Reed, MSW - Senior Project Director, Action 4 Child Protection | Catarolyn Johnson, MA - Learning and Development Facilitator, Florida Center for Child Welfare

February 24, 2021

Training Description

Viewers learn to develop progress updates to provide a concise, current understanding of the child and family's status and progress to evaluate outcomes, interventions, and services for their continued appropriateness. These updates are created when fundamental decisions are being made for the child or children, or when a formal re-evaluation of protective capacities and the child’s needs are required. Viewers identify a self-correcting process that leads to finding what works for the child & family as well as determining standardized criteria for the closure of child welfare cases involving an unsafe child.
