This training from the Florida Department of Children and Families will provide you with information about changes in practice and policy as it relates to the implementation of the Family First Prevention Service Act (FFPSA) and provisions related to placement of children in out of home care. The presenters will provide overview and information on qualified settings and program requirements, placement decisions, the age differential waiver process, and child caring agencies - formerly called ‘group homes’.
