Training Description

In 2018, Florida Statutes were amended, authorizing the implementation of a Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP) effective July 1, 2019. GAP is another option for relatives, next of kin and fictive kin to receive financial assistance for dependent child(ren) placed in their custody. In this workshop, the presenter will provide an in-depth view of GAP including the program eligibility, benefits and supports available to the caregiver. Join this workshop and learn about GAP before the program launches statewide in the coming months.
