Understand how to relate from a trauma-informed perspective with both patients/clients and colleagues. Better understand how your own trauma history influences your work. Develop self-awareness for signs of compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burn-out. Recognize the common traps that cause compassion fatigue and burn-out. Develop specifc strategies to nurture your professional development, heal from vicarious trauma, and avoid burn-out. Create an individual-specific action plan to sustain yourself in your work.
