Training Description

This presentation informs all child welfare professionals about case and statutory law released since last year's summit that has an impact on the dependency process. The cases discussed address various subjects, including procedures that must be observed when a dependency case is litigated, grounds for an adjudication of dependency, grounds for termination of parental rights, and intervention. This presentation also highlights the laws passed during the 2018 legislative session that will have the most significant impact on Florida's children and child welfare stakeholders. The presenters offer practical tips to audience members on how to ensure that their daily practice is in conformity with Florida law.
