Training Description

The importance of ensuring children are included and actively participate in dependency proceedings cannot be overstated. The information they provide is necessary to allow the court to make decisions regarding placement, visitation, and services. This engagement in the courtroom is also balanced with protections for the child, given the trauma they have experienced. This workshop will provide an in-depth look at best practices for engaging children in court and ensuring that the child’s voice is heard.
